Services

Our office provides total, comprehensive healthcare services for NEWBORNS, CHILDREN, TEENS and ADULTS including: gynecological exams, school and sports physicals, well-child checks, and immunizations. Also, preventative health services for men and women are areas of special interest to improve long-term quality of life and to break generational habits that weaken family health. We are committed to educating the community and patients about various healthcare topics as well as preventative care. We look forward to serving you and your family.

We accept most health plans, Medicare and Medicaid. VISA, Mastercard and Discover are accepted.

Office hours Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00 and Friday 8:00-12:00.

Appointments

If you arrive over 15 minutes late for your appointment, you may have to reschedule for another date. Appointment reminders are a courtesy extended to you by our office and is not a guarantee. We reserve the right to charge a fee ($25) for broken appointments (No Shows), please give 24 hour notice for appointment changes such as cancellations or rescheduling.

Financial

Payment is expected at the time service is rendered. We collect co pays at check-in. Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted. All deductibles and fee amounts not covered by insurance are due at the time of service. Checks presented for insufficient funds, closed accounts, or stop payments are charged a $30.00 fee for processing. Closed accounts without reconciliation will be collected via a collections agency or small claims court. Checks are processed by National Check Trust.

Insurance

It is essential that you become familiar with your insurance policy prior to scheduling your appointment. Please review the handbook provided to you by your insurance provider and the description of the benefits they provide. Call Member Services at your insurance provider with any questions you may have. Many insurance policies provide some coverage for preventative care (complete physicals). If you have two insurance providers be careful to research your benefits with each insurance company. Be sure to bring your current insurance card with you to all visits, and notify our business office of any changes in your coverage. Also, please verify if Kenneth Harper, MD is listed as your Primary Care Physician (PCP).

Prescription Refills

When possible please ask your pharmacy to fax refill requests to our office; please allow 48 hours for routine prescription refills. When calling the office for refills, please provide the name and dose of your medication along with your pharmacy telephone number for accuracy. Also call us at least 5-7 business days before you “run out” of medication. Check with your pharmacy first to see if prescription have been called in by our office and completed by the pharmacist.

Referrals

Time permitting referrals are generated and given to you prior to leaving the office; otherwise they are processed within five business days. Please keep in mind that is your responsibility to inform us of appointments that are scheduled with specialist when a referral is needed. A change in specialist/physician being referred to may delay your original referral request. Most referrals expire within the first 30 days if not used.

General

Please notify front office of any changes in address, telephone number or insurance.

Telephone Calls

Our medical office staff is trained to record and relay messages and schedule routine appointments. Our staff can assist with medical questions and arrange urgent appointments. When a call-back from the physician is necessary, this will be done as time allows, usually after the office appointments are complete or the next business day.
